This is a tiny MP3 player that actually is very user friendly. Almost all mp3 players this size will not have a display. This display while very simple has just enough information scrolling across it to vault this unit by leaps and bounds over the iPod Shuffle. This is by no means equivalent to a video player but it does have an FM radio that you will not find and any iPod device. This also has a voice recording mode.. which comes in very handy when you need to take some personal notes. You will access all the features of this player via the click wheel located in the center of the device. This is a very nice way to navigate and you get used to it quickly and find yourself not having to look at the player at all while selecting different options. This also has a equalizer built in which is just ok and doesnt offer a helluva lot of differences. The audio quality is just as good as the iPod Shuffle if not better. You load this player with the included USB cable which is also the way the players internal battery is charged. You can get about 15 hours of use from one full charge which is awesome! Downloads are quick and easy and you dont need to use any proprietary software or service to do so. Just drag and drop music files. This will also hold non music files for easy transfer to other computers. This will sync with Windows Media Player so if you have WMP managing your music library already you're all set.Bottomline: For just under $21 shipped this is a fantastic value and would be a great holiday gift.
